Welcome to our B & B

Casa Bambú is our home.  We welcome you to stay with us to experience the wonders of the rainforest of the South Pacific coast of Costa Rica.

We live in an island of tranquility, situated on 9 acres of untouched rain forest with gigantic trees, vines, streams and waterfalls. 

Surrounded by secondary forest, our Bed and Breakfast accommodations offer superb views of the jungle and the creatures that inhabit it.

A troop of white-faced capuchin monkeys uses our property as part of their corridor across the valley.  Toucans, trogons, kites and puffbirds are frequent visitors.

We are located on a hillside in Lagunas de Barú, three miles east of Dominical - close enough to be able to get to the superb surfing and other beach and ocean activities of that bustling village, and far enough away to have a completely peaceful stay on the South Coast.

The buildings and gardens have been designed specifically to provide an aura of peace and harmony with the forest.  The trails offer a personal spiritual link with primal nature.

We have a guest bedroom in our home as well as a rental cabina.  In addition to our rooms, we offer free holiday planning advice as well as guided walks in the Lagunas area.
